2.02 valves ?

2.02 valves ?
Will these pistons work with 2.02 valves? They look like there notched at the side of the intake valve relief.

Crud, those are the pistons in my motor and they look upon close inspection, and you can see in the picture...the intake valve reliefe looks tapered at the top right corner...almost like it is there for larger valves but the rest of it is the standard butterfly shape that was cast.

If your running a street engine, the 2.02's will flow good but as a street car it will cause a few tuning issues that are really unneccessary compared to the 1.90's. While there is a little hp/tq loss at the upper rpm range, if you consider the percentage of idle time ( around 15-20%), the 2.02's really cause more tuning problems than benefit. Just an fyi
