worried

I just purchased a 2006 crew cab 4x4 sport F250 w/ PSD yesterday. It has just over 600 miles on it and now I'm noticing oil drops on the driveway. My question is I guess, is this a bad thing or a normal thing? This is the first diesel i have ever owned so I have no clue as to if this should be happening or not. Any info will help.
Thanks
Murf

Take it back right now.

If the leak is a minor accessory leak, no big deal.

If the leak is from rear main on the engine, do everything you can to return the truck and start over- You really do not want to start off with a new truck that has been butchered by the local service department.

Step one- figure out where it is comming from. It may be very minor.
Step two- figure out if you want it fixed or if you want to try and change trucks.

In my state, buyers have a window of a couple days to change their mind and return their vehicle. I see no reason to have $30k+ tied up in a new vehicle that leaks.

Very simple, take it back!!! Minor or major, a new truck shouldn't leak.

Definitely, if your leak is hitting the ground get right back to the dealer.

As they said, return it. I have an '04 with 50,000 and have never seen any kind of an oil leak.
