Went and saw "United 93" tonight. Wow...that's all I can say. I don't guess I'll ruin the plot, we all know what happened. During the scene where the passengers attack, people stood up and screamed in the theatre, very moving. And then it just ends. Nobody moved, there was no sound except for people crying. After we walked out of the theatre, I saw grown men crying. Nobody said anything. It's hard to imagine that that really did happen, what those people did.

Very moving, 10/10, amazing.

i imagin that...i dont plan on ever seeing it..and i still dont think it should of been made at times...but then i think no, we need to be reminded every day , we have men and women of all ages fightin for our freedom just like they did, and those who are against the US and make a joke of our troops need to wake up and realize just what their fightin for and how much they need to care and suport all who have died and are still fighting for our freedom

 

I won't see it. I think it's a little early for movie executives to be capitalizing off 9/11.

 

Just got one queastion did they show the f22 raptor that shot it down.(I AM NOT A CONSPIRICY THEORIST), but i live 22 minutes from where it happend and have heard countless residents of that area say they not only heard a sonic boom but also saw the thing do it. As for the men and women dedefending our freedom cut the crap no soldiers have actually had to defend america from invaders since ww2. I am demeaning or trying to typifie the efforts of our troops as evil but i know and have talked personally with dozens of vet who actually served in combat. None of them supported what they did except the ww2 vets every one ealse includeing a viet nam special forces nieghbor and friend I have said if they had to choose to go or get drafted they wouldnt do it. One of my brother in laws best friends got back from baghdad, tikrit. and the photoes of men with thier heads blown off and little kids missing limbs,women grieving the loss of the loved ones was a stark wake up to me that, yes we absolutly should support our troops but not a senseless,needless cause that sends them into battle to die for something they do not support or bilieve in. As for my brother in laws friend he was sent home after an i.e.d. was thrown into has humvee killing every one but him. all he does not is sit in his room crying contemplating suicide. so go ahead ask him if he bilieves the 9/11 stories or if he defended anyones freedom in iraq.

There were no conspiracies...the sonic boom was probably the airplane breaking the sound barrier or the crash. The movie was very straightfoward, no political jabs, no stabs at Muslim beliefs, just what happened to the best they could recreate it.

Blueovalblood, I have no respect for your opinion. You are a total disgrace to the American people. I have countless family members who served in the military at one point or another. My cousin went to Iraq and was returned home after blowing his knee out. He's not trying to transfer units to go back.

I've not met but a few people in the military who have not supported the war. Let us remember, they are not being drafted, and most if not all of their contracts would have expired by now. It is a voluntary action to join the military, by patriotic Americans very unlike yourself.

Get over the conspiracy theorists. The FDR (flight data recorder) showed control movements consistent with a fight and a dive into the ground, not with someone trying to control an airplane which was badly damaged by a missle.

I should have known you people couldn't keep your heads on straight enough to not turn this into a political match, a degredation of the innocent men and women who died that day. This is a disgrace.

I see the 9/11 attack and the Iraq debacle being lumped together here. They are two different things. I would love to debate the lunacy of Iraq with those that support it, but we all know that is not going to happen here (and rightly so). The heroic actions of some passengers on that flight served notice to terrorists that they will never again be able to capture a U.S. plane and use it as a weapon against us ..... I am proud of them.

I fully plan on seeing it when I get home, as for now I can tell you that flying over ground zero in NYC 2 days ago and not seeing the twin towers, I was ready to .....well lets not get political here.

Is this flight 93 a movie in the theaters? I thought they did one already a while ago on A&E or the history channel or something like that. Is this the same one or a different one?

 

Yeah it's in the movies. It's real time 2 hours and 1 minute long.

NO I dont, not at all. But the iraqs are not the ones who orchestrated the 9/11 attacks it was islamic fundsmentalists mostly from syria trained in afganistan(forgive any incorret spelling). President bush himself admits that even sadam himself probably didnt have anything to do with 9/11. The only thing suddam was guilty of(in realation to 9/11) was allowing terrorist to possible passed through his borders and allowing them to train there. Which ironically happens in hundreds of other countries including england but we are not over there useing cluster bombs or white phospherous. Espesially on their innocent civilians. True there are terrorist in iraq but the mainstay of anti american resistence is from local iraqi insurgents. I do not support them either but according to the bbc as of 2004 there is not one iraqi civilian who has not had a blood family member killed by an american bomb. And while I dont want them killing and maining our innocent soldiers, I have to ask what are they supposed to do.Just stand there and let themselves be obliterated of the face of the earth for a few radical nutjobs they dont suppot, while there wives and children die. Again let me restate I DON NOT IN ANY WAY SUPPORT THE INSURGENTS IN IRAQ OR THE TERRORISTS. But with the advent of smart bomb technology the death of 100,000 civilians is inexcuesable.
