I'd be tempted to take that up with ebay for misrepresentation of what the auction was for. But without seeing the page, I don't know if that is an option or not...
I always pay through Paypal. If something like this happens, you can file a claim stating that you never got it. Even if you did get it you might be a wee bit dishonest, but is stealing from thieves wrong?
I used to sell "interchange lists" for a variety of GM and Ford vehicles. I stopped because it was obvious to me people weren't reading the text and only looking at the pictures. I even put "list" in bold letters as well as on the pictures, to ensure it was obvious.
sometimes you've got to read the fine print......it wouldn't have hurt if you read the bold print too. You spent 23 bucks on a list. Not the worst thing in the world you could have done. I'd say it was money well spent if you learned a lesson
if you read his feedback, it seems he is a decent type. i would email him and ask if the bid can be withdrawn because of confusion on the fact it was only a list, and not the item itself. you may be surprised at his reply, and then there will be no need for negative feedback for either of you.
Yea. It was one of those things where I was leaving town and I was on the phone... I know better when I'm On the phone Dont do anything Just concentrate on the conversation...
We live and learn. I did kind of Just go by the Picture
Thanks for Not slamming me guys
I am new to this site, but I do ebay alot. Try emailing the seller to see if you can withdraw your bid. Thank goodness you did not pay too much for the item. The seller may be cool about the situation, then again maybe you can make use of the list!
