rear spring block help
I had to put new rear springs on my 79 F150 4x4. The ones I put on were listed as a heavy duty but supposedly stock dimensions. After putting them on I had to fully extend the rear shocks and even then coax them to get them on. My trick has 3" blocks on the rear spring perches. I don't know if these are original or if someone added them before I owned the truck. If I remove them to get the ride height down can I bolt the springs right to the perches or do I have to have at least some smaller block on there?
