'03 Aviator performance update
Ok, been a while but here we go. I finally managed to find someone to reprogram the PCM on the Aviator. I went with SCT and so far, so good. Runs much better. Feels stronger. Feels weird being able to go over 100mph too. She pulls REAL hard from ~70mph up too. Still not anything great off the line but I'll be working on that more in the future. I also got an unexpected bonus. I picked up 2mpg!!!! Gotta love it! My son took it to the track last night and only managed a tenth better than last time when it was stock. Not sure why since the truck feels substantially faster but I'll take it down myself and see what I can do. Overall, I'm VERY happy with the truck now.
