I was standing at the entrance of the video store returning a video that I had rented and I heard the unmistakeable sound of a Powerstroke approaching, accelorating, comin' at me with a 5" Cannon exhaust! YEAH!!!
He went zoomin' on by and I ran for my truck to chase him down and give him a big thumbs up, but he was GOIN' and the lights were against me.
First time I've been able to hear one from somewhere else than the driver's seat and it is great.

I recommend standing 50 yards away. Man does it sound good!
So Kwik....do you hear the turbine whistle real loud? Like my 4" system without
a muffler. I can hear it reflect off everything. But i'm not crazy about the loud fluttery sound.

Oops...forgot about them files in your sig. Sounds like a 6.0L with a straight thru exhaust. Very nice! If memory serves me isn't that a 5" MBRP system terminated before the rear wheel?
I was at the bank today and parked behind a dually with dual 4" sticking out the back. We came out of the bank at the same time. He fired his up first. Sounded pretty good. He pulled around next to me with his at idle. I fired mine up (a little extra pedal) and saw his head snap to listen. He put his window down, revved his engine and stuck his head out. I punched mine, all throat and turbo whine echoing off his truck. You should have seen his face. I held up five fingers. He had this huge smile on his face, nodded in approval, gave me the thumbs up and proceeded to light up all four of his back tires...on dry pavement. It was impressive. My bag of tricks was empty by then. At least mine sounds cool...
I see him around occasionally. I'll have to compare notes and get him on here.
The best sound is when you go under a highway underpass or through a tight, walled area with the pedal pinned. It definitely has its own sound.
Man, I've still gotta get the wife to do a couple drive-bys. Kinda curious what mine sounds like.
The guy who works for me drove it past a few times so I could hear it. It sounds comletely different from outside than inside. Better actually. That kid loves my truck more than I do. You should see him puff up when someone comments on the truck.
