Changing shocks for lls

Hey guys haven't posted in a really long time. Anyway I have a 99 xlt 4x4 4.6 v8 which used to have 4 corner LLS. Anyway the ranchos I put in front are dying and so are the old man emu in the rear. Time to change shocks

So my questions are

Bilstein HD FRONT BE5-2574 and REAR BE5-2575

Anyone know how they ride? I want better handling. Also will these shocks fit on my car? It should right?

Also thinking of removing my airbags in the rear. Is strutmaster the only place to get rear coils? Anywhere else?

On more thing anyone know a good way to lift my truck a bit more? How are the trailmaster kits? I already have a 3inch body kit and 33's. No need in making a monster truck so if it's not so expensive maybe another 2 to 3 inches.

Since I'm planning on buying shocks and rear coils maybe a bit more I can get some kind of kit?

Thanks Again

Bilstein does not make a front air shock for these trucks (unless they started recently). Your pretty limited there to OEM stuff and Monroe for front. As far as lift kits, not sure but I bet you can call around and see who has what to offer. I would bet you would have to give up the LLS when you lift it and go to a conventional suspension.

silvergt, I'm not looking for front Air shocks, just shocks to replace the fronts (rancho's). I already did the conversion except replacing the rear air bags which I'm planning to do (strutmasters).

So my question is willl the bilstein work all around on a 4x4 lls (disabled my LLS already)

Anyone know of a lift kit since I'm going to change my shocks and convert the rear airbags to coils.

Thanks

If you have disabled your LLS, then the Bilstein’s would be a superb choice for the standard 4X4 suspension. I also believe Bilstein makes shocks for a lifted suspension, not sure of the lift though. Again, I would think that any good lift manufacturer would have a recommendation of shocks or a selection of shocks to use with certain lifts.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Wait, just to clear something up. All 4x4 expy are torsion bar up front? None came with coils? So if that's true then the only difference between the models is the rear air bags and of course the air shocks?

Getting quotes for the 2574" and 2575's for my '02 EB 5.4 4x4 now. List is $121 and have seen $65 from Internet folks and $70 from Auto Zone.
Have the same question as to how firm these will be but going ahead with the swap.
