For those interrested, I just added an album in my gallery showing the RWD SHO engine I've done so far. I finished the trans adapter today and finally have the engine and tranny mated. Tomorrow,I start making mounts.

that is some awesome Fabrication!
i dont really know anything about the SHO engines. What kind of power do they put out? I guess i am asking if it is worth all the extra work?

SHO Engine
Thanks fellas. The engine is rated at about 220 H.P. and 200+ lb/ft torque. I think they both are in the 6500 to 7000 rpm range. The motor is able to rev at 9000 and the computer cut-out is set at 12,000 rpm. That's what caught my attention. Physically, it's not a whole lot smaller than the V8 flatty. I hope to have it setting on mounts some time next week. I'll post more pics then.
