hey,
i was wondering if anybody has installed the bully dog shift enhancer kit? if so how well do they work? is it worth the 80 dollars? after the install did you get better fuel milage or power?
and also how hard was it to install? and would you recomend it?
thanks
Mitch
I think the general preference is the Sonnax Tri-cumulator kit. I am using a Trans-Go right now, but have the Sonnax sitting waiting to be installed. Check some of the sponsor sites for prices.
It definatly firmed up the shifts, didn't notice any real mpg gains but then again I have a heavy right foot. Right now I don't have any guages, so I can't say it it reduced the trans temp. The install actually wasn't that bad, I was expecting worse. From what I read, the Sonnax parts are probably the best option. Kinda kicking myself for going with the Transgo SK. There are a few sites that have some good step by step instructions on the install.
