June Meeting
Lets go aherad and set the date for the June meeting for June 3rd.My son graduates June 10th so I can't make that date and the rest of the month is booked for me also.Another meet in Lexington? Which is about as far as I can go.Any suggestions??? Thanks,Cliff

I'll get back with you on the suggestions...I haven't heard anything form the Virginia chapter on our group gathering which we were trying for June. Do we want to see if we can plan that for June 3rd and if we can't make the date happen, then we'll see if we can plan our gathering with them for later in the summer?

I got the email your wife sent over. I'm waiting to see how that would be handled. The problem is that I'm concerned that it'll be perceived as a member using the funds for personal gain, so we would have to find some other way to help out. We as friends of Slash can help him out, but I think it has to be separate from the chapter involvement.
I'm loaded up with house guests until Thursday. I usually have a small window of cell phone time when I leave the office (usually around 5:30), so you can try to reach me then or sometime over the weekend and we can talk about it more.

hey guys, im situated know. i found a guy that had a whole bunch of trucks, and he said he needed a big truck to haul crap around in. he had a bronco(1978 bronco custom, 400, NV438, NP205, 9" rear, dana 44 front that he traded. it just needed some carb work, so i just replaced the carb and its ready to roll!!!!!!! i got some pics ill post up later.

I'm all for the June 3rd plan. The wife's suggestion sounds good to me...thanks to both of you for offering. We should figure out who all is coming so we can plan on everyone bringing a little something and do a pot luck cookout or something.

great date , thought i might cook some butts for some good ol bar-b-que, congrats on the bronco slash, and we need to support our PEPSI employed friends( just kidding ) just dont get any red menace . just let me know whats up ,thanks mike

cliff, thanks, it runs great after i replaced the carb and did the basic maintenace.
