Another gas tank question
I have a 67 f250. It has both tanks, but I don't use the one behind the seat. I just want to remove the tank behind the seat for space purposes. Maybe speakers. I see there are 3 bolts with some kind of bracket on top and don't see anything else.
The question is: Is there anything else holding the tank in and, can I expect to run into any problems? It is bone dry by the way.

Another gas tank question
Just remove the bolts across the top, disconnect the fuel line, the two wires going to the fuel gauge and the rubber inlet fill hose. On my 1969 the fuel tank's bottom flanged slipped into a couple of metal supports. They had rusted against the tank and it took rocking the tank back and forth to break it free. Hope this helps.:-)
