BSEG!! Oh yea!!
Just thought I'd brag a little. Last Friday I towed a 69' Chevy 3/4 ton long bed for a buddy of mine. I live in So-Cal and had to go up what is known around here as the Cajon Pass, I think it is about a 6-7% grade. Well I always here about guys runnin these V10's @ 4,000 or more Rpm's when towing up a grade, so I figured what the hell, let's see what she's made of. Man I was not disappointed, I'm not sure how much weight I was towing, but am figuring between 7-9K the trailer I have weighs 1,800 by itself, and I'm not sure what the Chevy weighed. Well any who, I passed everything that was towing up that hill and some that weren't. This V10 towed the weight up the hill faster than my old 01' 3.0 V6 Ranger could running solo with nothing in it.The only thing that tried to kepp up was a newer Ford Class C motorhome appox. 26-27', I'm guessin' he had a V10 also. Man I love my V10!!!
And it's only a 2V. Good Times!!!

Really, that got a good laugh out of me
Especially the motorhome ...
The key is the extended, flat, RPM range and the torque curve that goes with it. And the ability to live in a lower gear because of it. Hang on to your wallet though... your MPG will get better as it gets lighter
