Tongue Weight
for the 06 SCrew 4x4 6.5box. 5.4L
Also it says in the ford brochure to subtract 500 pounds for, GCWR/Maximum trailer weight, if i have 18 inch wheels.
Trying to figure out for the Most Maximum towing ability/Payload if Im better off with the 18 or 20 inch wheels.
Thanks
According to the Ford tow guide the F150 in max tow configuration ClassIV hitch has a max dead tongue weight of 500lbs, with WD 990lbs. The WD setup actually relieves the tongue weight.
By going to larger tires actually make the engine see a change in overall drive train ratio. Larger tires on a 3:73 rear will allow the engine to turn slower to obtain the same speed with the same gear ratio as compared to a smaller tire.
