Defuser TC LOCK switch install?

Has anyone with an 03' installed this thing? I will have to hook into the wire harness that plugs into the top of the transmission beside the exhaust. I see no other way than to unhook the 5" exhaust that I installed over a week ago. This will be a PITA! It might wait until my AMSOIL syn. fluid arrives and do the flush and Sonnax all at once.

i have one on my 02. same as the 03. you can tap into one of the wires in the harness above the front left wheel. there are 4 or 5 of them in a row. the color you need is purple with yellow tracer. the one that they labeled in the instructions wasnt the one that worked for me, so i tried every one of that color in the harness until it worked. luckily it only took 4 or 5 times because there was alot of purple/yellow ones in there.

Could you tell me which of the harness that you plugged into, they might be the same and it would give me a big starting place.

It's the forward most connector, grey in color. The rest of them should be black. It's the number 6 pin/wire on the connector. It's under the filter area. Here's a couple pics showing the connector, air filter is removed here, and I have no more factory air box. The connector is the one with the clean black split loom coming out of it:

Thanks for the reply, but not on mine. I did cal Defuser and they said that on the 02 and 03 it had to be hooked up at the trans plug. My number 6 pin is orange w/white and the purple with yellow that I have tried up there did not work, but I only tried 3 purple w/yellow.

Gotcha. Didn't know the 02-03 was different.
