Paint Cracking

I posted this on another forum with no response. My son's 97 F150 has started to crack on the top of the cab. Is there anything short of having it repainted that I can do to slow this process? The hood was replaced/painted from the result of a fender bender, so the paint is still in good shape as is the rest of the vehicle.

The only thing you can do is to strip it down to bare metal and paint it. Sorry

66 twin i is right. Paint cracking goes down to the metal. Many repaints over cracked paint crack as well. The paint has to be removed to the metal and resprayed to solve the problem. Sorry.

Thanx for lsitening
