problem with ts-chip
hey guys i got my chip in the mail last week. went to install it, that wasnt as bad as i thought it was. the problem i am having is when i plug the chip in and hook everything back up. when i turn the key on the wait to start light stays on and the truck wont start. doesnt matter how long i wait the light never goes off. are the contacts for the chip just not clean enough? i thought i got them pretty clean but now i am starting to second guess myself. any ideas? thanks. its on a 97 cc auto.

Most likley not clean enough. Did you pull the PCM out and open it up to clean the contacts?? Their is alot of gunk on the board ya plug into. Make sure you disconnect the battery's when ya do it.
