trailer brake controller

Hi.....I just traded my 05 F250 5.4L for a 04 f250 6.0L much better truck if you ask me. but anyway I can't find the plug under the dash to hook up the trailer brake controller!! I found it on my 05 model plugged into the back of the pocket on the dash where the factory controller would be installed if it were so equiped.
does anyone know where i can locate it??

To the right of the steering column behind a brace. Look hard it is a bear to find. Your truck must have the towing package for it to be there.
