Ball Joint Rplacement
I pretty much know what I need to do the job and what else to look for except for seals behind the spindle. Is there a seal on the spindle shaft itself or is there just one on the backside of the spindle.I was looking at an old post that shows this and kind of looks like a seal is on shaft when the spindle is pulled off. I got a used KD spindle puller and now need to obtain a slide hammer and the press. Hope to get those on loan from Autozone.Just do not wnat to run back and forth to the parts shop. thanks.

If you are moving from the outer u-joint toward the spindle, there is a seal there when you get to the spindle. It's more of a dust/water seal than an oil seal. It keeps stuff from getting in the spindle area from around the axle.
Then you have the grease seal next to the larger inner wheel bearing.
And then you have the o-rings around the chrome part of the hub, and the o-ring around the hub lock-out ****.
