Indeed, sierraben. Joe Haldeman has written some neat sci-fi based on robots waging war. Looking more plausible every day.

While the USA has fallen behind in a number of manufacturing areas, we still lead the world in advanced weapon systems. I guess if you're going to be good at something, that would be it.
