2 part Epoxy

I used a 2 part expoxy on the windshield cowl since it just never wanted to stay down. It is still on and it's been working great. However, I want to somehow use more expoxy to get underneath so that it sits flush. Right now, it's not sitting flush but there is no way that thing is coming lose like it used to. How should I go about doing this? I need to somehow *remove* the expoxy to start over..I dont know if there is a way. Do I need to break apart the expoxy by using force or is there a technical way that I am unware of?

as far as I know you're into the tearing stuff up faze of this. Expoxy is a permanent bond. It wasnt' made to come apart. If the seal wasn't rubber I'd suggest heating, but you'll burn the seal that way. Go slow and work it in all directions is the best I can tell ya. you may tear stuf up less that way.

Adhesives function best in shear load applications. With that note, heat plus removal by applying tesnion to the parts should work to remove it. I'd expect the adhesive you're using will bond to itself rather nicely.
