Performance Problems
To start off let me tell you what all I have done to my truck. Then I will give you a list of what performance problems I'm having. Its a 2005 SD
Banks 6 gun and PDA
AFE stage 2 intake
Banks intercooler
ATS Transmission (I toasted my stock trany)
Now for my problem, please let me know if anyone else has had these problems.
The check engine light is always on. (code PO402 Excessive EGR Flow)
There is very very little black smoke coming out of the exhaust, kinda just like stock.
Ford said the check engine light is on because of the AFE intake. They said that the mass air flow sensor can't read the increased amount of air the is going by it. What I'm wondering is that maybe the Banks 6 gun is not adding more fuel because of the false reading the mass air flow sensor is sending the computer.
I would appreciate any input anyone might have, Thank you.
