steering box

I have a 01 f250 super duty,and the steering box leaks alittle?Is this something that can be repaired?or will it have to be replaced?

If it is the top cover gasket it can be replaced without tearing the gear down. If it is a seal at the pittman arm or input shaft the gear will need to be torn down. Depending on what else is wrong with the gear compare the repair cost with a rebuilt replacement from Cardone or someone similar for about $250 - $300. Ford will probably be around $400 but at least worth asking them. Where is the leak?
