question/problem with Edge..
I recently added a 4" turbo back exhaust, AFE stage 2 intake, and The Edge Platinum...All i have to say is WOW, what a huge difference. My question is, when i put the edge on level 5, "extreme" and i step on it, my transmission gets all funky, it will go go go then when it switches gears theres a big delay that slows the truck down and then picsk up again. I know that i can change the settings on the trany with my Edge, but what am i supposed to do?? I searched some forums but cant figure out the most power i can achieve out of my Edge, without causing damage.
If anyone can help me out with that and if theres a site that gives you the defaults and best performance out of the settings, please let me know, Thank You

I Have Been Runnig Mine At 30% But I Only Set The Edge On 1 Or 2 Sometimes 3 For A Little Bit. It Seems To Run Ok At 30% But If You Are Running It On 5 With A Stock Tranny Becareful If You Decrease De-fuel Too Much I Hope This Helps

If you drive it on level 5 with or without a modified tranny regardless of the degree of defueling. Say bye to the tranny. I just said goodbye to my second transmission in 56,000 miles. It is fun to hammer it but the 5R110 can not handle the torque. I ran a Suncoast with all of the goodies available, it lasted 20,000 miles. Pretty steep for 2y.o. and 56,000 miles. Just my experienced opinion.
