radiator

I just got off the phone with modine radiator.I thinkin a 1973 24"x26" 4 core radiator.will this fit in my 66 its all steel and lifetime warranty for 295 shipped to my door what do you guys think,that should cool my 385 series i hope?

You can get a 3 core Modine for around $180.00 unless they have taken a big jump in price. I have seen some 4 cores but have sucessfully run 3s for 40 years.

Call around for a better price.

thanks they had the three cores but I wasnt sure if it would be a enuf cooling power is 24" by 26" the right size?

What engine are you running? A 385 series wasn't offered til 77?

I'm going to be running a 10:5 to 1 compression approx 450-500 horse 460 boted.40 over with a C6 thats why I was thinking a big radiator

Get one for a 79 with 460 and you should be fine. Out trucks have large enough frontals that air flow isn't a problem.
Using a shroud would help too.
