help needed

I have 1999 f250 7.3 the abs stays on, the od button starts flashing and the speedo won,t work until 30 mph. Any help ??

Try removing the power by disconnecting the batteries(both) and waiting 10 minutes then reconnect and see if it clears up.Sounds like some sort of comm problem between the pcm and the instrument cluster.

Also I think a bad VSS sensor will cause the problems you are having.....

I had this happen to me...It is the speed sensor mounted on the rear differential, easy to changeout

Ah yes...the Vehicle Speed Sensor...sounds like the problem. Another Hall-effect device going south(CPS is Hall-effect device too).

Battery disconnect fixed the problem on a 96 ambualnce with the same symptons...but VSS is very very possibly the culprit as well.
