What to Expect
I was just wondering how many more miles I might get out of my 93 F150 4*4. It has 171000 miles on it. I keep the oil changed every 3000 miles. Whats the most anyone has ever gotten out of a 5.8 351 W? I would be greatfull for any reply.

Mine has 165k on it and going strong.
Could have many many more miles on it but if you havn't changed the timing cover it may be a good idea.
You can check the condition of the engine by doing a compression test, leakdown test, and checking the oil pressure.

my neighbor just sold his 94 bronco with 5.8 and 375 k miles on it, and it still ran like the day he bought it. the only reason it went was he got a new expadition given to him from work.

yup, frederic has over 350, and it really only needs head gaskets due to an antifreeze leak. but it still runs great. if he can keep the distributor from popping out of the motor.
