The wifes truck will not start. Ran fine all the way home from Ohio earlier today. Went out and tried to start it and nothing. Battery is fine (12.5v)
There is a loud "humming-chattering" sound coming from under the passanger side glove box, but its more inside than outside. Meaning when the hood is up, you really cant hear it that well looking under the hood.
I read that it could be a starter solenoid and I can jump it out, where exactly is it located?
The starter relay is located under the hood, behind a plastic shroud, and is mounted to the firewall on the passenger side. Follow the red battery cable.
