Another idle issue
Bought son a 99 explorer 4.0 w 87k on it. Had it gone over. Flushed the tranny twice and other fluids. I didn't like the idle. Tech said that's how they are. I read up on the IAC and the problems it causes. I replaced it because it really made the engine dive down to an almost stall. That brought it up some but it still seems to pitch down after crank up then back up to warm up. Not a show stopper but it annoys me fo some reason. Guess i should just drive my own truck and let it go? Any suggestions besides cam position sensor or the MAP which I already cleaned?
