Build Date 1/99 Question

The line is a little blurry, but I think you would be considered a late 99. The traditional date mentioned is December 7, 1998 which is when the AD injectors started going in, but all the changes happened gradually between December 98 and February 99.

99 was a tough year. The truck went through a lot of changes. I know that I have to make sure with everything I order or buy to tell them the build date. I know when I order my front end leveling kit. They went by a 03/99 date for differant kits. In the first couple of month they change the rear block heights, sway bar size and other things I can't recall. My date is 02/99 and even at best I still get the wrong parts and have to switch. Good luck and any time you go to the dealer let them run you VIN for the right parts.

ADMINS PLEASE DISABLE THIS FEATURE. IT'S STUPID AND A PITA. Yes, it's disabled in my user options but it still does it. It serves no purpose other than causing necroposting.
