400 to 351C

400 to 351C
I have a 79 ford truck. It has a 400 in it, and how hard would it be to swap in a 351C? Is this a good idea? Which engine has more power and is better?

First off, welcome aboard!
Secondly, if you're sure the 351 is a C motor, you will need a new tranny to go along with it. The 400 can be made to run pretty strong. If you are talking about rebuilding one or the other before it goes in the truck, stick with the 400 and spend the money you would for a tranny on other HP parts.
