I installed the tow mirrors on my F250 last week, lots of you helped me with that!! Now the passenger side mirror (the reflective part) vibrates BAD at highway speed. Does anyone know of a trick to "tighten" it up? Thanks!
If the mirrored part is vibrating, then it sounds like a defect. I have had two sets on mine (got to close to another SD on a country road) and don't have never hade any problems with that. I don't believe you can get to anything to tighten up. Are they Ford mirrors? If so, make them replace it.
P.S. Make sure the entire mirror isn't vibrating. Have someone ride with you and when it starts have them put thier hand on the plastic part and see if that stops it.
