Does a Superchips leave any codes?

I guess you have the 1705 like me. It does cause a code to show up every now and the. I think it is 1211. Usually if you clear it a few times in a row it won't show up for a while. When you hook up the 1705 select read codes, if any are present it will ask if you want to clear codes and if you do select yes and it clears them. Had mine for two years and had no problems. Would like to upgrade later to the DP flip chip. Like the idea of changing on the fly.
