Question Vibrations

I currently own a 99 super duty 4x4 and i have a vibration coming from somewhere and I can't pinpoint it. It seems to go away when I accelerate. I currently run 38.5" procomp xtreme a/t's on weld 16x10 rims and have 4.56 gears. I have a stock v10 with a gibson aftercat exhaust. I also have a procomp 8.5" lift with blocks and springs. My front axle is a dana 60. I don't know of anything else to tell. Please help.

Man your so far off the ground you may be getting airstream turbulance. Is the vibration in the steering? Have you added anything new lately?

Did you upgrade your front-end? The reason I ask...is that the D60 did not come available on the F250 SD until late production of 2001. The '99 F250 SD came stock with the D50.

Usually...if you feel the vibration in the steering wheel, then it is the tires. If you can feel the vibration in the seat of your pants, then it is a drive train issue. Give more info...so that we can try and diagnose.

Welcome to FTE!

Yes I upgraded the the stock D50 because it is not heavy-duty enough. Also, I just put in a new steering box and pitman arm because when I did the axle swap I forgot to put my steering stabilizer back on and the output shaft broke and the broken piece would not come out of the pitman arm. The truck vibrates when I steer sharply but also when I am driving straight. I feel the vibration everywhere, not just the steering. Here are a few things I have done to eliminate the problem. I just put all new Moog balll joints and wheel bearings all around in. I put all new wheel studs in. I just got an alignment and had the tires rebalanced. Any help still?

Check your drive shafts for play, sounds like you have some bad u-joints.
