Front Brakes

Will the front brake pads, rotors, calipers from a 1986 f350 fit on a 1986 f250?

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on if both trucks are 4x4 or not. If they're 4x4, the F-250 could have a Dana 44 HD TTB or a Dana 50 TTB. The F-350 could have a Dana 50TTB or a solid Dana 60 front axle. Ford switched the 350's from TTB Dana 50s to Dana 60s mid year 1986.

Ford also switched the way the calipers are mounted to the caliper brackets very close to 1986.

Any easy way to tell the difference between the 44ttb and 50ttb?

I want to say that the D50 will have a larger hub than the HD D44. I can't remember for sure though. The D50 is pretty much a D44 with D60 outers, while the HD D44 is a D44 with 8 lugs.
