Speedometer

I'm running 35s on my 79 F-150. Is there anyway to get the speedometer accurate. On my Jeep, you can just replace the speedometer gear in the T-case. Thanks for the help.

I did something similar I called a local shop that specializes in obsolete ford parts. They asked me my gear ratio and tire size and they hooked me up with the right one.

the same applies to the fords. just replace the plastic drive gear with the correct one and you are set.

Thanks for the quick replies! Does anyone know if there is a chart that shows how many teeth the gear needs to have? I'm running 35s with 4:11 gears.

Idgit,

There are some people on FTE that can't read small text.

These people are IN the Know of many things.

These people would like users to make sure the font is readable........ that is if the poster wants their questions answered.
