feedback on rust paint
i need some help on trying to make a decision on these rust paints. miracle paint, por-15, rustbullet, etc. has anyone used these sucessfully in a restoration/repair project and would share opinions one these. i have the general idea on using these but i would like to know if they actually work in real life and not just on paper.

I used por-15 inside my tailgate. It flowed pretty well between the two metals on the outer skin. Used the starter kit, a three step process. Then after a week I sprayed in a lot of good quality undercoat. Got in no hurry and let each step dry and it seems fine after about a year. Rust holes the size of a pin head were appearing in the tailgate and I see no enlargement of them now. I chose silver color for more filler qualities.

POR-15 is probably the best overall product that I've used. Its sensitive to UV rays so on parts that are exposed to direct sunlight it doesn't hold up as well but I think the company is even making a UV formula or an additive for that purpose these days.
