O.K. This is my third post asking for feedback on anyone who is running or has run Cooper Discoverer STT's on their Superduty. All I want to know is how many miles did you put on them or how many miles do you currently have on them, how are they holding up, and are you happy with them? Before I spend some big $ I would like some feedback.
Bought my last F250 SC, SB 4x4 PSD with 305/75/16 on it. They looked to be new. A year later, 20+ k miles, replaced all of them because of sidewall failure (a tennis ball sized lump in 2 of the 4 tires with in a week of each other).
No towing and no heavy loads. I suspect too big on stock rims but who knows.
Not really an answer to your question other than stick to recommended sizes for your rims
have a buddy who runs the STT,, he says mid 20's for mileage,,Noisey but very good off road. I have my first set of ST's now and already have about 42,000 on them and another 6-8000 shouldnt be a problem at all.. I have had very good luck with Cooper Tires..
Thanks for the reply! I was thinking of going from 265/75/R16''s to 285/75/R16's. Just worried about how they hold up mileage wise. I know the old STT's wore down fairly quickly. Just hoping with the new design comes a new compound. I really like the way they look but can't find much "hands on" experience about them.
