Speaker Stuff

Why dose all this speaker stuff have to be so expensive!!!!

Anyway, im having trouble finding speaker for my bronco II, that are atleast affordable. I tried walmart, and they didnt have the 5x6 speaker size for my rear speakers i want and the 3 screw mount 5" fornt speakers. Dose anyone know if best buy will have that size, and be the least bit affordable.

Also i need a new headset, bestbuy again I guess?

I found some subs on the internet....

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...lance&n=172282

Do they seem worth it, or would bestbuy or simliar have a better price...

Radioshack didnt have to great of a selection....
Idk where else to look.... im trying to not spend much more over 250-300 bucks.

I got other things i still need to do to my bronco II ya know lol.

Well you can get a better price on subs and amp, you should check out ebay and give it some time. I wouldn't get speakers from Walmart either, again I'd go with ebay for the better prices.

For the sizes of your speakers. You need 5"x7" for your rears and 5.25" (5 1/4") for your front speakers. I know because I too have a Bronco II.

Talk to KCAutoSound, a member and sponser here on the forums. He'll give you a quote, and probably try to price match, or beat theirs by a dollar or two.

when you say affordable... was walmart affordable? I know they have some pretty cheap priced speakers. If that is still too expensive then you're in trouble. I mean I can get you some factory replacement speakers on the low but they sound like you're talking through drywall.

As for the three hole speaker. Some of the 5 1/4" speakers I carry have multiple holes for mounting...thus allowing to match up to your three hole mounting. Most are a standard 4 ear mount that just require new screw holes.

Your under $250 price point is easily obtainable if not cheaper for a decent CD/MP3 player and two sets of speakers.
