First try the simple stuff. Pull the switch out and use a jumper wire across the poles to see if the problem is the switch. That's what the problem was on my mother-in-laws Aerostar. Probably not the regulator or motor since it goes down.

I ask what window because it could be the driver switch or the switch at that window.
Does the window have any other symptoms or history....dragging? If so, the motor may be weak or the tracks and related parts need grease.
