I need your help. I am lucky enough to have a friend that has a field full of front suspension donors. He has volares, aerostars, dakota's, one mark VII and a couple 1995 grand marc's. I would like to stay all ford , but not stock. My main concern is engine placement. I have a 4.6 dohc from a 93 mark VII that I have to install. (or my better 1/2 will kill me.) I am no engineer so I don't want to be the first to try something new. And could some one tell me how to view the galleries mentioned is other post. I can't seem to find them. thanks.
I dont think are a whole bunch of people that have done the 4.6 swap. I know there are some, but info is more scarce than if you did a small block or bigblock ford.
Any one of those swaps are gonna be a lot of work, mostly prep. There are a lot of posts that you can search for to figure out what front end is right for you. A good one here
As far as the galleries go, if you left click the posters name, then left click on "view gallery" it will send you to their gallery. From there select which group/album you want to see.

The Volare or Aerostar is going to be the least expensive and least amount of work but the MarkVII or Grand Marc might more easily accept the 4.6 engine. It's nice to be so fortunate to have all that available to you. What year is your truck?
My truck is a 54 and is my first resto-mod. Im just alittle afraid to notch frame rails for the aerostar front, with out alittle more info. I have templates and the on-limit video for volare install But think I would like something alittle cleaner looking and clearing that box could be tricky. Thanks for the gallery tip also.

I'd stick w/ a FoMoCo product as you usually have Little or No Modifications to do to it to make the Parts fit & operate correctly.
