5.4 Missfireing
2000 F150 5.4 liter mis firiring under acceleration, service engine light has not come on yet but there is a noticable loss in power and surging while accelerating any ideas, would there even be any codes to pull since the light has not come on? Thanks

Probably your coil packs. Yes, they will go bad without setting any codes. You might also check your plugs if they haven't been changed. Sometimes you can check with an infrared thermometer to find which cylinder is misfiring. That one will be much cooler than the others.
If you end up replacing coil packs, I used some I got off of ebay. They were $100 for a set of 8 rather than $50 a piece from parts stores. Good luck
