tranny trouble
hello i drive an 80 fi50 with a 400mand a 4wd granny 4 spd. t18 trans to be exact. heres ther trouble. yesterday i was driving to work and lost the ability to shift the gears.ive had a little trouble with the trans since my brotherinlaw changed the clutch. so i pulled the top off the trans and behold the 2nd and reverse fork is bent and ground a good ways off but that isnt the biggest problem the biggest problem is that ford hasnt prodused or sold the forks since 1998 does antone know where i can get a new set of forks i love the truck it has just over 400,000 miles on it and i wanna try to get at least 500,000 out of it anything would be greatly appreciated

Find a local transmission that specializes in repairing/rebuilding truck transmissions and see if they can help you.
Also contact Brog Warner Gear and see if they can help, since they produced the T18.
Ford just sold it in their products.
