Sounds like you got a real good deal on that truck. Look arond to see if you can find good used parts to save money that way. The lift kit may be something you have to buy new but you can find rims and tires used. I'm thinking maybe headers and exhaust to give you a little sound. Congratulations and good luck.
Good Price. If you got it from a farm auction, make sure first thing that its safe. check brake pads, all your brake lines, fuel lines, coolant lines. Go through and check for any shoddy wiring that may have taken place, since thats a common job on old farm trucks. also, check for any serious rust, every now and then you find the truck that some good-ole'-boy let the floor rust through and patched it with a strip of plywood. checking these things will help guarantee that you're alive to enjoy your purchase, and a lot of them are cheap, and they all give you a good chance to find anything that may be wrong and to better understand the truck.
