Hey everybdy.I just picked up a nice pair of visors with the passenger vanity.I put new bulbs in and then I put pwr to it and nothing. All the contacts are real clean. So my question is this.Anybody know how to take it apart or any input. Thanks
Yes I did ground it.The reason I know this is I hooked up another visor that I have the same way and it worked.I did't mention in the 1st post that I lightly shook the visor and somethings moving around in there. Thanks
I was also wondering if I took the screws out that are under the 2 lenses if I could lift the mirror and top plastic up+out of the visor to get a back end look at the small switch ?
After looking at mine it appears it is held down in the corners.
I tried prying it out with a putty knife but was afraid to brake the plastic that run across thre top and bottom in the middle beceause it is thin there.
It is obviously a friction fit then snap in the corners ....it can be removed ......done carefully.
