I hope its the the adrenalin they're producing.. or maybe a boss f150 with 6.2.. should be interesting whatever it is. I guess its just going to take a few years until Ford has the resources again to be dumping into performance vehicles.

I was sure this would happen. I couldn't believe that SVT would be dropped. Ford knows performance vehicles are important, and that last line describing comsumer's emotions with performance vehicles is spot on.

I think Ford is gonna make 1) gt-500s or cobras, whatever, and 2) lightnings. I think the new lightining will look a lot like those saleen trucks but with proven SVT engineering.

Its too bad. It would be really nice to have a performance vehicle at every level. I would have bought an svt focus if they still made them..

Well, seems to me that there are people standing in line for the GT500. Can the same be said for the 500? How about the Freestyle? The Focus? You get the point. The way forward may just be the way backward.

I think there in the works of that, idk were I seen it but they had a concept svt focus it was a current day focus hatch but had svt styling and they dident say what motor it had all they shown was a 170 mph speedometer and also a boost guage so my only guess is there gonna be boosting the next svt focus I guess competition for the retired srt-4 neon now replaced by the srt-4 caliber which they say will do low 14 idc it looks like crap, and i guess the supercharged cobalt and of course the ricers. I think they said the new focus be out around 07 that make sense becuase 07 is when the new shelby gt500 is coming out so idk 07 might be when svt comes out to shine again.
