I have removed all switch assy's and ***** from dash except the headlight. This assembly is loose but I cannot actually remove. Any suggestions. There is not a hex nut on the **** itself. As for the rest of the assemblies, no two were the same.
I have both those thin wood grain plates that runs behind dash *****. I would like to replace these with a chrome or stainless equivalent. Is there an aftermarket dealer, or should I try to remove wood grain finish and buff for a chrome like finish?
If I remember corrrectly there is a small button on the switch assembly that you hold in while sliding the **** out. After that remove the threaded collar.
Thanks Reggie, I'll look for that button during my lunch hour. I was all over that assembly last night. I noticed I was getting frustrated at such a minor thing so I had to back off before I busted it.
That's the trick... on the top side of the switch, push it down and pull out the shaft/****.
