add-a-leaf????

add-a-leaf????
I was wondering...Are add-a-leaf kits worth it if you want a couple inches of lift? I was thinking of adding them on my '89 F-250 4x4. Also, are they hard to install? Any help will be thankful.

Howdy! I'm looking into adding some leafs to my truck. I rode in some trucks with added leafs, and they ride really stiff which i really like but some people dont. One of my friends tried to arch his springs and it really weakened his suspention. also blocks weaken suspention. I think adding leafs is the way to lift, just my opinion!

if you put them in the front of your f250, it will make the ride even stiffer, give you an inch or so of lift, but looks for the springs to sag back down to close to where they ar enow in a year or two. the leaf sprung ttb kills leaf springs due to the twisting motion as the axle travels.
