I am finally getting close to my goal. I got my AIS in can really feel no big difference, but I htink that the 30k mile filter life will pay for itself over time. If people wonder why that was my choice, I live in alaska and the dust from the glaciers and all the sand and gravel on the roads is really bad. I wanted to make sure the engine was protected. Anyway all I need is a new programmer/chip. I think I will get something from Jodi, I just ahvent decided. But I have had a superchip and a evolution. I will get it all right eventually.

Don't feel bad - an intake really is just setting you up for better air flow for the chip or tuner (AND for better filtering) - you're not really gonna gain a whole lot with just the intake! And I'd say the AIS was the perfect choice for those conditions - sounds pretty nasty!!
I'd defininitely recommend getting Jody's tunes - whether you get a chip, tuner, or even a new PCM...
