TS Chip and Sonnax
I was woundering about my TS chip and the Sonnax and T/C lock switch. I have them installed right now on my truck. The TS chip made sharper shifts and with the Sonnax its even firmer. My question is, am I hurting anything by have them all installed? I dont want to much pressure in my tranns when it shifts and break something. It is a stock tranns and T/C. If I can get some feed back that would be great. Thanks again everyone.

Man that's one reason I got rid of my TS chip - I never was happy with the shifting with the Sonnax valve and Tri-springs. I sent it back a couple of times to get things changed - but it never was quite right. See my post about Jody's chip and the BTS valve body - you couldn't ask for better shifting!! My ONLY regret was putting up with my TS chip for so long!!
If the shifts are slamming hard, or mush soft - you probably will end up hurting something eventually!

Yeah thats good to know. I like them both, the shifts are nice and firm not harsh. But I keep hearing all the good stuff about the DP chips and the more power they make and all the other good stuff about them and the BTS valve body and I'm getting jelus. But for now till I get some more money this will do great. Thanks everyone for your help and comments.
